I am currently awaiting graduation from my BA degree in Web Communication and Communication and Media Studies at Murdoch University, in Singapore.
I have a passion for the Korean language and have been self-studying since late 2010. After two years of being a graphic designer, I attended the Yonsei University Korean Language Institute in early 2013, graduating 9 months later. I have also received Level 5 in the 49th TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) in November 2016.
I started working as a freelancer in 2014 with a local agency. I have done translations for a wide range of topics, but I'm best at general translations, entertainment, educational and advertising/marketing content, as well as English-English and Korean-English transcriptions.
I have also worked at a Korean broadcasting company for almost 2 years, where my work consisted of providing Korean to English subtitles and conceptualising of in-house programmes for viewers.
