**Software Engineer - Virtual City Software Inc.** (Dec 2000 - Apr 2002)
A large portion of my work was in the construction of our company's "Virtual City Hall Software" (VCHS). VCHS is comprised of 4 channels: an internet "Portal", kiosks, and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system for the public, and an intranet system for clerks at city hall. This system is used to administer business licenses, property development applications, public feedback, payment of parking tickets and similar issues.
I also provided many other custom software solutions for a variety of problems.
* Developed a Dividend Re-Investment Program (DRIP) system for a major stock brokerage.
* Developed system for exporting client's T3 information into a format specified by the CCRA for their magnetic media submission guidelines.
* Completed numerous smaller projects.
In developing the VCHS system I was part of a team of developers, and was involved in all stages of the development process, from meeting with clients to determine their needs through to final implementation and deployment. For other projects, I was typically the sole person assigned to the project, and responsible for it in its entirety.
