I graduated from the University of Buenos Aires 25 years ago. Since then, I have worked for all kinds of companies, both small family business and multinational corporations, being responsible for general accounting and budgeting. I had also the opportunity to automate many processes and build different models for forecast and analyze the performance by product category or sales channel.

Portfolio

This model uses Power Pivot to make sales projections. It has four input tabs: Product Master, Customers, Units and Selling Price. The output tabs can be set up according user's needs. There are a few examples in the attached image, but any output you need can be easily built by adding and removing the corresponding fields to the pivot table (fields inclide selling price, cost, commercial agreements and any calculation based on these; more can be added as per request)

It was designed to be as easy to use as possible: simply update the input tabs, refresh the pivot table and there you go.

The classic Price - Volume analysis. It explains if the increase or decrease of sales is driven by a change in prices or by the difference in units sold.
It supports calculations between periods (YoY, QoQ, MoM) and between different scenarios (Actual vs Budget) and also in difrerent currencies
It can be set up to do the calculations by product (shown in the image), category, customer, sales channel, etc

Simple to use, it needs four inputs: Currency Rate, Products, Customers and Transaction Data in fourseparate sheets; all the calculations are preformed within the pivot table
