I am an MBBS graduate currently working at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, India. Writing for me started as scribbled collections of inchoate thoughts on the back of notebooks, notes in my phone while waiting at the airport, bus stand or as messages slipped in between conversations with friends. I kept writing and it grew with me from discordant thoughts to short stories, articles, fiction. My articles on a wide range of topics from LGBTQ rights to health and fitness have been published online along with opinion blogs as guest writer. I have experience with content writing for travel websites, health and fitness forums, product promotion etc. But more often, when I am not trying to revive a patient at the hospital, I find time for creative writing. I look for eccentricities in the ordinary, anomalies in the conventional. Short stories, fiction writing, prose have found their way to my phone notes or napkins. Hoping to turn the crumpled tissue papers into green bills now.
