Project summary: ANZ Banking Group Ltd is Australia’s leading Financial Institution present among that country’s Top 10 listed companies. In addition to operation throughout Australia and New Zealand, ANZ also extends to 26 key markets across the Asia Pacific region, serving more than six million customers, providing a range of banking and financial products and services to retail, small business, corporate and institutional customers. ANZ Bank’s Internet banking initiatives were run amidst a steady growth of Internet banking in Australia. Australia’s Internet banking users has now exceeded half of Australia’s banking market, with an estimated 30 million online banking accounts. IBSC stands for Internet Banking Solution Centre. The ANZ IBSC Program is one of the major programs for Infosys employing over 100 people based out of Australia and India. This program is primarily responsible for upgrading, maintaining and supporting the ANZ IB application. At any point of time, there are 5-8 projects / releases running concurrently within this program. I was the sole primary test owner for 3 Releases and many Work Requests. Contribution:  Effective analysis of Work request from the requirement docs from our onshore QA Client.  Preparation of Test strategy includes all the details like background or introduction of the requirement , scope of testing i.e., what functionality changes are included, what to test and Test region, QC path, Test Data, Approval and Signoff Para. This will be reviewed by the technical lead and sent for approval to the project team.  Preparation of test cases\scripts based on the scope of testing mentioned in strategy. Cases will be written in QC (Quality Center) and linked to the Requirements. The test cases will be imported to MS Word using tools Report Generator. This will be reviewed by onsite Lead and sent for approval for the project team.  Performed System-Integration Testing, Web Testing & Database Testing across the applications.  Reporting Bugs or observations Using Quality Centre.  Excellent awareness about miphone testing and purge testing.  Functional, Web and DATABASE testing on banking product of Infosys called FINACLE.  Have a good knowledge on SQL Queries and Oracle Database. Project 4: Open Reach – Wholesale Line Rental (OR – WLR) Client : British Telecom (BT) Employer : Infosys Technologies Ltd Test Process : End to End testing (Web, Database, Mainframe) Duration : Sep 2007- Sep 2009 Position Title : Assistant Test Engineer Role : Software Test Engineer Team size : 11 Project summary: British Telecom is the major Communication Provider in Britain and it helps the rest of CPs in taking care of the wires, fibers and connections that link homes and offices around UK to the local telephone exchange, where the lines connect to the Communications Providers’ national networks. Open reach is a part of BT Group which works in an independent way to ensure all Communications Providers get exactly the same service. Open reach has been created to provide installation and maintenance services for Britain's Communications Providers. Wholesale Line Rental (WLR) enables Communications Providers to offer their own-branded telephony services over the Open reach network. Wholesale Line Rental allows Communications Providers to rent the telephone lines from Open reach and resell them to their own customers. BT WLR System architecture designed with the following components which are: • End user • Portal & Business to Business • CRM Layer – Customer Relationships Management – One Siebel • Management System – Flow Director • Fulfillment System – Flow Stream • Mainframe System – Customer Support Service. I had been a part of handling the complete End-to-end testing ownership on WLR products and in generating various on-demand reports. Contribution:  Proper understanding of CRT (Change Request ticket) provided as part of release item.  Involved in preparation of checklists & Traceability Matrix.  Performed Sanity Testing in the BT applications to avoid risks in Priority 1 issues.  Preparation of Test strategy as per the change request that includes scope of testing, what types of testing to be used, test approach etc.,  Preparations of test cases and break down those test cases in to test scenarios.  Carried out an End to End testing which involves protocol testing, Web testing, Mainframe Testing in BT applications.  In case of deviation from expected results, raise the bug or issue using Quality Centre.  Liaised with the development team to ensure that defects are rectified in a timely manner.  Prepare the test signoff document or test evaluation summary report that includes all relevant reports and docs involved in the specified test cycle.  Executed automation test scripts using QTP & ITAA.  Mentoring and training of project members on domain perceptive.  Provided hands on training to onsite and offshore people as a BT Domain expert.  Used Infosys Internal Defect prevention tool to eliminate the In-process defects injected by the Testers during the Test planning and Execution phase.  Involved in reporting the weekly and Monthly status reports to the Management / Client and Participate in weekly meeting with the management team and walkthroughs.  Implemented a POC of simultaneous executions which has improved the automation productivity by 30%.  Was instrumental in getting BT project CMMi Level 5 through a strong DP process.
