Four leg system with minimum backlash
In this solution, four legs are fixed on the profiles. Their length is just enough to have a small gap with the floor, hence insuring that in case there is a malfunction the fall will be very short and the impact will therefore be very weak. Once again, it is a very simple part that can be made out of 3D printed plastic.

Considering the robot's height, if the legs do not extend far enough it will simply fall over anyway because the center of gravity will be too far. In other words the legs need to be at a certain distance from the center.
