Locking mechanism Design

The mechanism rotates when the pair of tongs are being used. By the time the customer isn't using it, the mechanism stop rotating and doesn't allow them to move. With this mechanism you don't need a complex assamble.

The use of spring is okay. Just preferably the spring does not give the unit a biased force when the pair of tongs are being used.

It isn't a spring, is an element that block the tongs when they aren't moving. The customer will be able to use it easily.
