I have been using windows a application that emulates physical disks, like the well known Daemon Tools, it is called FileDisk and was written by Bo Brantén. Fact is the driver is being installed properly under Windows Vista Ultimate and the application mounts smoothly any ISO image but for some reason images such as Visual Studio 6 and Office 2007 Ultimate (between others) are returning an annoying message when the is double clicked. I would like someone to modify filedisk, it's an console based open source application for mounting images. What I want is a desktop icon that is linked to a password protected zip compressed file. The file must be transferrable between filedisks but should not be able to be used with a normal zip utility.
