Our project involves creating a Pacman agent that can find its way through the maze. By using the Depth First Search in an efficient way, the agent can move him from a starting point to a specific location and efficiently collect the food. In this design, the agent will receive -1 points for navigating through cells where there is no food and +1 points for collecting the food. Once the algorithm reaches its final state, a final score is computed. The performance is evaluated by comparing this score to the brute force method. We will also experiment with one of the enhanced research methods of depth first search in order to improve the performance from the basic depth first search algorithm.
