Hi, We currently use Tinymce as an html editor for our teachers and students online and we use mathquill to generate formulas in latex code but with an easy User interface. We have something already working with tinymce, mathquill so that it is easy to select a math equation like in a word document so that the user interface is easily manageble. We want someone who is able to add missing formula in the editor and making it work while adding the button in the javascript. The code is open source so it is not that bad. For example, if the user click on "a/b", that would mean it would insert a fraction frame in the editor, then the cursor will be placed at the right region to add numbers in denominator or numerator
The job consists of completing an unfinished integration of TinyMCE rich text editor with existing MathQuill and MathJax plugins. We need an interface which will be user friendly for teachers to write math equation (like in the word document) and then edit them and make them appear perfect with mathjax rendering. We would need the tinyMCE editor to show the math equation not in latex but in conventinal math writing (which is already working with some bugs). The job is already started by one of our programmer and we need to complete it. the job is 60-70% functionnal but some adjustments are needed. The best for us would be to compose texte, image, notes, etc. in tinyMCE, integrate a button in TinyMCE editor which allows us to use mathquill and mathjax (which we already did) but instead of converting it in html-css, convert it in SVG (without the bolding effect done by mathjax when chosing this SVG format). If that is possible, we would also want an upload button

Required: 1) Add a limited version of MathQuill - - to allow users to enter the maths. 2) Show Quadratics being solved through factorization if possible and then by the formula if not (currently just uses quadratic formula) 3) Add support for square and cube roots, equations of the form x^3=8 etc 4) Show the solutions of simultaneous equations through standard elimination rather than the current method of gaussian elimination. 5) Allow inequalities to be solved (3x<9 etc) 6) Add more steps in the working out at most stages (I will show you what to add and where) Thanks, Richard

Wanting a plugin for TinyMCE editor to allow math input. When the button to enter maths is clicked, a window with this editor is opened up - (see bottom of page). When the TinyMCE input form is posted we would then need to render the latex that the mathquill window has created using the libraries. Thanks, Richard

We are developing a javascript application but are having difficulties. Please look here - (use richard / noble) and type in x^2. This is the behaviour that we want. However if you now use the pop up palette and type x (power icon) then when you type 2 the cursor is in the wrong position. We therefore need to get focus after we press the power icon so that the power can be typed in. The entire zip is here - (richard / noble) Please see attached image for further explanation.
