For this project, I'm looking to portray the life of a fifty-year-old, black woman in a gray, soiled sweatsuit, smoking in a wheelchair with oxygen bottles near her in an outside gas station setting. The purpose of this project is to create social commentary, and the mood I'd like to convey is neutral. More specifically, I'd like to focus on the character's life and what this image tells us about her. My hope is that through this project we can gain insight into human experience regardless of social standing or circumstance. Will be a sticker. Cartoonish in nature. Setting is Detroit. Bus stop outside of a citgo gas station. Oxygen bottles and wheelchair belong to HFH
