We are using Microsoft deployment tool in order to deploy our computers. We need to know when the process begins and when it's done.
There would be a single computer to manage installation on other connected system and it would create a task to install applications, drivers, files etc. Once the deployment is started, I need to know the start date, Details of installation and end date and time and log on the Azure Server these details.
some details:
Windows Service would watch the folder for the specific log file stored by MDT in the file system
• The file would be read and the event would be sent to the Azure service bus for start and end event
• Each server can run its own windows service application which would need to install on the individual machine
• Data would be sent to the Azure Service Bus and the to the Azure database
