I am forced to equip an access DB for our clients at work- the boss insists on access therefore the postgres one isnt what he wants - we will continue ot use it but i need to be able to give him at least a working access font wnd. i have a working access facsimile with fields built. i DO not know VB/VBA or even really how to keep the sql clean/sql99, ie non MS access. therefore i need an access mdb file build around the basic tables supplied that generates reports from query results that from one or more records from the table tblClientData in the same vein our current database produces . these files will be attatched for your refernce. our current db outputs these in word format. there is no need to create forms or queries those are alerady there or can be created later. if the time/will is there then by all means add this and if they are fantastic additions to the front end we will consider them seperately and remunerate you appropriately, to be clear. your bid only includes report generation into this word style template filling relevant fields. the sample given will be pages 2-3 of this 5 page word document. seriously simple VB/macro scripting to the knowledgable. this is really inteded to be stop gap solution as front end to a wrapper we are writing for postgres and odbc.
## Deliverables
Discrete report generator. so if two records are produced by a query the macro will produce two documents based on the template. only fields present in the table make it . other spaces remain blank for manual filling on hard copy. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program add on to existing MDB file [supplied] in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
