I am prevented from recording a macro in WORD 2010 by the following: "The function you are attempting contains a macro or requires macro language support. When this software was installed, you (or your administrator) chose not to install support for macros or controls". I have had no problem recording or running macros in he past in the past, but have just moved from a PC to laptop (Windows 10) and now have problems recording macros.
