Hello, I have written (badly as I'm not a programmer) a small point of sale program for a pharmacy. My commercial dispensing software sends a small file to a directory with the details of the prescriptions I've dispensed. I'd like you to write some code which will collect the information from this file and display it on my point of sale at the price on the file from the dispense system and take it out of stock from a stock holding table. If the sale is cancelled the item needs to be returned to the "script waiting for collection file" if the sale is processed the item needs to be taken off the "script waiting for collection file" but the remaining items remain as they were. If you are interested I'll send the files through for you to look at.

Looks like you don't use a database....if what you do is all in electronic form you should use a database and not the filesystem. In any case I can help you.
