Artwork For Game

All of the artwork should be illustrated and full color. It should use a dark, creepy color scheme and have a overall cartoon scary/humor feel. The type of hand drawn art we are looking for is very similar to the screenshots in this link: [login to view URL] Each scene and prop should be a separate .psd (Photoshop) layered file. Each scene should be 480 x 320, and each prop should be no less that 128 x 128. Town – Ariel view (not directly above, but at a 45 degree angle, facing north) at night of a small, creepy town with a few broken down houses. The town should consist of a few boarded up houses, a couple of old but livable houses (maybe a few with the lights still on). A small forest in one area, a run down park in another. Most of the houses, roads, car, etc. should be to fill the scene a bit. Only 3 building are really important. To the north, set on a hill, should be the mad scientists laboratory. This building should look like a mix between a castle and cave with a long winding dirt driveway leading up to it. The lab should be surrounded by trees and unruly hedges. To the left of the lab, and south, should be the shop. The should should have the appearance of a old wooden gas station, without the gas pumps. A broken sign (but still clearly legible) should have the word “Store”. One of the windows should be broken and the light should spill out into the street ahead. To the right and south of the lab, should be the library. The library should be a tall, three story building that seems to “loom” over the street. It should have the word “Library” chiseled into the awning leading inside. The building should be made of stone, and have a few holes and cracks in it. All of the buildings should be facing south. Each of the three main building should have an inside scene, the inside scene should be from a side view, similar to all of the hidden object games on the market. I will describe each scene below: Lab – Dark, creepy room with a table in the center. Behind the table, on the wall, maybe a few shelves with weird instruments and maybe a few funny books with titles like “Do It Yourself: Zombies!” and “Turtle Reanimation and You!” The look we are going for in the lab is creepy with a bit of humor. This scene should be full of odds and ends that a mad scientist would have around. The table should be empty. Shop – Old looking shop with a wood counter top and broken down old register. Maybe a spider and web in the corner. Shelves directly behind the counter with things that can be bought. Don’t worry about those now, we will sit down and figure those out later. Library – A big wooden book shelf with a lot of other funny title books, but 3 or so that stand out. The 3 books that stand out a bit will be, “10 Richest Mad Scientists of Today,” “Successful Mad Scientists Weekly,” and “Greatest Mad Scientist of All Time.” The bookshelf should take up most of the scene and the aspect should be a few feet away from the shelf. The floor should be visible in front of the book shelf and should have a few books and individual pages scattered around. On the floor, kind of off to the side, should be a book called “Dr. You, an Autobiography.” Props – We will also need the following props. Box – a small box that is very similar to a cereal box. The color scheme should be easy to change in Photoshop and shouldn’t be more than two or three colors, with one color being very predominate. We should be able to change the text on this box from within Photoshop, so any fonts you use we will also need. Beaker – A classic scientific beaker (reference here: [login to view URL]) that matches the overall mood and style of the game. Open Book – We will also need an image of an open book (or tome) that matches the overall style of the game. This open book should be 256 x 256.
