Ans:Our current AWS user average is 40 and the number will become 2000 with a new application under development. Ans:We use serverless architecture if possible so that it scales (e.g. DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, API Gateway). We keep transactions independent of each other so that horizontal scaling works the best. We use target groups with Load balancer. For DynamoDB, we use partition keys that increase with time. For RDS, we design entities and indexes to keep performant. Ans:Some of our applications (one migrating to AWS) are few years old with user base of 2000+ concurrent users. We review these apps for slow query and feedback received from customer. Ans:Cloudwatch alerts are configured to monitor performance issues and send notifications on SNS.
