I have read the full job description and understand that you are looking for a writer to write blog articles related to law and litigation matters.
I have a strong legal background, having practised as a lawyer for the past 9 years. In addition, my academic studies, in which I completed a Master of Comparative Laws mean that I have an excellent command of the English language (and French by the way) and am able to create effective written content, which will appeal to a variety of audiences.
I also have a strong research background both in my academic studies but also in my professional life, both as a solicitor and also as a Judge's Researcher at the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
Among my peers, I am highly regarded for being able to not only carry out the legal work that is required but also in communicating legal concepts to both clients and junior solicitors. This would therefore carry across in any blog writing where I could explain legal concepts to a non-legal audience. Further, I love finding amusing and quirky pieces of litigation and think that this would also be fun to share with your blog readers.
I think that this would be a wonderful opportunity to engage my creative side as in my work as a solicitor that can sometimes be neglected. I would love to work with you on this project and look forward to hearing from you soon.
Regards,
Ellie
