I have been working as an Account Executive for an advertising agency for eight months now. As the project lead I am the one who initiates conceptualization of ideas and the screening of all outputs. Therefore I proofread and copy-edit everything before presenting for my client's approval. There are times when my team isn't able to deliver as expected so I have no choice but to step in and create the copy myself. So in any case, I do have, to a certain degree, experience in the writing field. That is in the corporate world. Generally, I do have a lot of writing experience as I am a graduate of BA Communication Arts major in literature from the University of the Philippines Visayas Tacloban College. Which is why I don't mind putting in some extra effort to copywrite every now and then even though it technically isn't my job. My education has trained me well and I like putting it into good use especially since it will be for the benefit of the the company I am working for. Recently I've been searching for jobs that would suit me more naturally. That is why I'd like to apply for this job. I would love to be able to write all day at home and earn a living from it.
