Design a Papercraft Model

I want to a custom papercraft design based on a the idea of a trap to catch a leprechaun. This could be a house like attached or something that looks like a trap (Important its for kids so nothing too scary.) I do not know a lot about papercraft but I would like my design to be able to be constructed from thick card rather than just thin paper. When someone buys the kit I will send them the card to make it along with instructions and also some additional items like chocolate gold coins. So the kit would have card, instructions, paper for making pot, pot instructions, gold chocolate coins and maybe some green paper and stickers. I would see the child colouring in the card so to make it theirs so paper / card can be white. Hope this is clear. Let me know what you think.
