I have a data entry page on my ASP.Net website where users select data via dropdown boxes (one is dependent on the other), text boxes, a calendar date chooser, and a radio-button list. So there are several web controls in use on this page. However, during every selection of the dropdown boxes and other web controls, there is a very annoying full-page postback. I have tried to use the "PageUpdate" controls for ASP.Net but they are no help. I need someone to remove the full-page postback and create a more elegant, smooth experience for users. I would rather not use the PageUpdate controls if possible, but I'm open to these if you can get them to work properly. The code behind is in VB.Net, and the data is being pulled from a SQL Server database. You will have access to work on the test pages if you win the bid. There are multiple ways I can remove full page postback. I am also able to do validation as shown in the test site. I have a good understanding of VB.NET and could likely have it done in one day.
