Audio-Visual software development [US only]

We are in need of an Audio-Visual software developer to help build an innovative product that will help evaluate and grade speeches in public speaking courses. This developer will design and create a system and user interface to capture and evaluate audio and visual attributes during a speech that are relatively easy to observe and measure (e.g., speech length, body movement). Responsibilities include programming and integration of existing software using necessary programming languages and related tools and frameworks. Minimal viable products will have the capacity to adjust reference levels (via parameterized queries and lookup tables) and include dashboards for separate teacher and student access and metrics. We are seeking a developer with the ability to advise on appropriate language and process. Budget is negotiable. This is a project through the Center for Information and Communication Studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
