I am Nirman Jayasena. I am a Mechatronics Engineer. From what I read from the description and pictures I got an idea that you are using the dome to project videos or images in it yes? And from the looks of it your main issue seems to be the weight. I can design a great dome with an material that is light weight as well as being durable. However I will require the exact dimensions of your work space. I can do it in Solidworks and make a detailed CAD drawing. I could contact a manufacturer in the USA but, I am not quite sure how much it will cost to manufacture and ship it. I suggest that you find a manufacturer in china through ebay. most sellers have connections with them. That would definitely be the cheapest manufacturing option. Thank you very much! Dear Sir/Madam, Hope you are doing well I am Amit Garg. I am Second Year B-Tech Mechanical Student in BML Munjal University, Gurgaon in India. In my first two years of engineering I developed a keen interest in designing. I scored A+ in my designing course in the 4th semester. I have also taken training in Siemens PLM NX software (through Siemens authorized learning centre) and also in AUTOCAD (through CADD centre). At present I am in a phase of learning of MATLAB so that I can code for my own simulations of Mechanical components. Doing this project can help me out in further increase of my knowledge in designing area and it will also help me to explore unknown areas of the designing industry. In the Second semester of my B-Tech I have fabricated and designed chess pieces Using CNC lathe I have also fabricated my University symbol and designed a toy in my Joy of Engineering course. I am responsible for all the CAD designs that are used in University Mechanical Workshop. Other than scoring A+ grade in designing course, I have very good academic record. I was 21St rank holder in high School Examination in my state (Punjab, India) in 2014. I was also selected for MIT global Start-up workshop, Hyderabad (2016).
