Design a structure capable enough to carry a given load

Dear Sir I'm a Mechanical Engineer and have experience in structural analysis and crash analysis in inventor and ABAQUS CAE. I'm a recent graduate and have been here for only 5 months but I already have done various design projects for companies all around the world. For my credibility, I rejected a full assistantship PhD in mechanical engineering offer from Clemson to do my own projects all through this year.
