Hi, I have made my first multi-process and multi-thread projects in C in the 1990s. MPI is of course a good abstraction/simplification of the mechanisms available in Unix back then. I used MPI recently as well (mpich, in Linux). Your 3 vessels should not be a problem, I think :) Regards, Mb
