I created my own VB.Net CMS system - very basic - very simple. I have been using it for years and customers love it because it is fast, simple, and it WORKS. I converted it recently to C#.Net, but did not get a chance to include all of the system features in that system. However, it seems that even C#.Net is now "old". So I am working to recreate the CMS again using .Net Core. This initial project will be a small proof of concept and does NOT need to be a complete CMS system. Once the small proof of concept is complete and working, I will create new projects for developing the CMS and websites using the CMS. So this work will hopefully lead to more projects and an on-going relationship with a talented developer who wants to partner together to develop and support web applications. SCOPE: - Take existing prototype and finish ground work to display basic pages - includes tag replacement engine - Add .Net Core ability to server content files such as .jpg, .js., .css from alternate folders on server - Add CKEditor (or other toolset) ability to modify page content - Establish project in GIT repository - Help install prototype on Windows VPS - Help install prototype on Azure web service - Note: this version of the CMS will not provide dynamic DB content or user interaction Scope/hours/budget/timeline is negotiable. Hi, I was impressed by the detailed description, something that's usually missing here. I have a couple of years ASP.NET MVC development experience under my belt and have been working on various .NET Core based projects alongside traditional .NET Framework since mid-2016. To be completely clear on the requirements, I'm interested in hearing a couple of clarifications related to the first three scope items: "Take existing prototype and finish ground work ..." How much of this work is done, do you have a backlog of work items and their status? "Add .Net Core ability to server content files ..." I assume that something like PhysicalFileProvider is enough to fulfil this requirement? "Add CKEditor ..." Does this mean that a certain page can be loaded to the WYSIWYG editor, edited and then saved again? Heavy-lifting in that case would be done by the selected toolset. I have years of experience working with enterprise customers on various web, desktop and mobile based projects. These are the most relevant ones to your project: 1. ASP.NET MVC based website of a Scandinavian food company. 2. Web dashboard (ASP.NET, Typescript, Entity Framework) for a solution that helps a large multi-national pharma company to track guards in their custom made tracking solution. 3. ASP.NET Web API (.NET Core) project with an MVC frontend for a beverage delivery solution.
