I'd like a simple asp.net WEB api service that can be called with a record ID number and a status number. The action to perform will be to either insert the record ID and status into a table or if the record already exists then update the existing record with the new status number.

Hi, I have been working with WEBAPI for the last two years. I am going to do this for free as it is my first project and I can complete it in one day. The project all it takes are the following. 1. Creation of web api solution and adding the controller. 2. Writing the action in the controller. 3. Handling all the business functionality in whatever best possible way. 4. Handling the error and logging them. 5. Checking the authentication and authorization if any. I think some other points might be added to the above after I got the full details from you.
