Job Description: Our reporters write about specific topics assigned to them, including but not limited to business, current events, technology, science and health, entertainment. Each website has its own topic of focus, and a writer will be assigned to write about one particular topic for submission every day. Responsibilities: (1) Network and research leads for content (make sure no infrigement), identify trending / viral topics (2) Deliver 5 articles a day, each article between 300-400 words long (3) Ensure that articles are of high quality and complies with best writing practices (ie., proper citation, no acts of copyright infringement / plagiarism involved) (4) Be online through the entire shift via Skype, Monday to Friday Qualifications: -With an undergraduate degree (at least 2nd year college) and/or a college degree but preference will be given to journalism and communication arts majors. -Experience with writing for online publication is an advantage -Knowledge in driving traffic and increasing views for a digital publication is an advantage but not required -Ability to follow writing standards set by the company -Adept in using social media tools such Twitter, Facebook, etc. -Applicants who are knowledgeable of specific niche e.g. tech and gadgets have an advantage. -Innovative, collaborative and change-adverse -Ability to cope with pressure and meet strict deadlines -Must have good and stable internet connection at home **It doesn't matter what city you're in.
