Compare 2 similar spreadsheets and report differences

Instructions for Spreadsheet A and Spreadsheet B compare 1 Please open both spreadsheets A and B. You will be comparing data between the two. 2 On spreadsheet A, you will need to match each entry with one on spreadsheet B 3 First criteria is the date. Then it will be the amount in/out. 4 The description is for basic reference only but should be more or less similar. 5 If the transaction on spreadsheet A is matched with a transaction on the spreadsheet B, please put a "y" in the Matched column and move on to the next row. 6 If the transaction on the spreadsheet A is not matched with spreadsheet B: 6a If something similar is there, compare Transaction Ref and use best judgement. If wrong date, or wrong amount, please put "delete" on spreadsheet B and "add to bank" on the spreadsheet A 6b If the transaction on spreadsheet A is totally not showing on spreadsheet B, please put "add to bank" on the spreadsheet A 6c If the transaction is on spreadsheet B but not on spreadsheet A, please put "delete from rp" on the spreadsheet B 6d If not sure about the transaction, please put "not sure" next to the relevant entry on whichever spreadsheet it appears Each spreadsheet has about 2500 entries and there will be about 500 inconsistencies that will need to be reported as above. This should take a competent person about 12 hours. Faster if you can write a formula to help compare.
