Keywords: electrical contactor(s), circuit breaker, relay, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, galvanic isolation mechanism Scope: To design a 3-phase, 200-amp, 600VAC electrical contactor to replace an existing galvanic isolation device within our solid-state circuit breakers. The new design does not have to break current or open under load. However, it must be able to be disconnected manually and electronically. Design must fit into our existing solid-state circuit breaker footprint and is going to involve substantial coordination with integration into existing product. This project requires professional knowledge level in electrical mechanics, plastics design, and disconnect engagement methods. Additionally, all designs must be for prototyping and validation for integration. Candidate must be able to start immediately with 100% focus on this project. This project requires rapid design for our next generation products with prototyping expected to commence by March, 2018. Awarded partner may see additional long-term opportunities with Atom Power should this project be successful.

Hi, I am a mechanical engineer with Engineering Consultancy and Manufacturing company by the name of PKECM Services Pvt Ltd. We have a very large and dedicated team of mechanical, electronics hardware and software engineers. We specialize in custom industrial and commercial machine/product design, development & fabrication. We do design using 3D modeling softwares, PCB design tools, etc and simulations of design using various techniques like FEM/FEA, CFD, explicit dynamics, custom programming, etc. In past we have designed complete products like variable stability aircraft (changes its geometry while flying- having more than 800 custom designed parts), glider based payload delivery system/mechanism, desktop coffee roasting machine, gun recoil simulation mechanism, etc to name a few with microcontroller based sensors and controllers. We also have inhouse prototyping and manufacturing facility including 3D printing i.e. SLA and SLS in 3 different polymers, vacuum casting for a range of polymers and aluminum, CNC milling and turning, etc. PCB printing, hardware assembly, product integration & testing is also available.
