Dear Sir/Madam,
I was born in The Netherlands, but have spent a considerable time of my life in Australia, so i guess you can say I am a native speaker in both Dutch and English, being bilingual.
I've had English class at academic level I have a passion for languages and reading and love to be active in that line of work.
I recently did a Cambridge Assessment English test, this were the results:
Your level is C2 (advanced/mastery) This is approximately equivalent to CPE, an IELTS band score of 9 or 120 at TOEFL iB
This level is assessed as: C2 ALTE 5 The capacity to deal with material which is academic or cognitively demanding, and to use language to good effect at a level of performance which may in certain respects be more advanced than that of an average native speaker.
Example: CAN scan texts for relevant information, and grasp main topic of text, reading almost as quickly as a native speaker.
This shows I am qualified to translate, transcribe or proofread anything in both Dutch and English.
I hope you will give me a chance to prove this to you and I am looking forward to working together.
Regards,
E. Bouman.
