Hi, I'm absolutely certain I can do this project to your specification. I can do it in PowerQuery, but I would rather do it in PowerBI. This is because in PowerBI there's a lot more filtering options and ways to compare both files. Quick question, does the onboard computer file need to be taken physically from each unit at the end of the day? Or can it be sourced from an online System? The solution would be more streamlined if it was the second option, but can be done anyhow. I will guarantee my work, if you don't like it or it's not up to your standards, you will not pay. It appears the data shows the hours information of the deliveries etc. I probably need to talk through for an hour to understand how this relates to your budget data. you mentioned your onboard computers create this file, is this the only format that is available ? Looks like they are apple systems. was just wondering how the files are pulled from the computers to process further. would like to understand the process better so a simpler solution can be created. I believe there are options for you to create an excel file on your numbers application. I have 14 years of experience in Software development and programming. i have sound knowledge on excel or power query features.
