We require a person with a strong background in mathematics as well as Microsoft Excel to develop the formulas for a Return on Investment calculator being developed for a client's website. There are approximately 12 final calculations to be determined which will be comprised of approximately 50 to 75 formula's of varying complexity. In order to assist us in choosing a provider with the ability to deliver this project correctly, please provide the answer to the following. Minutes of reduced idling per day: 50 Engine Size: 3.2 litre Fuel Cost: .92 cents per litre Days of operation per week: 6 Liters of fuel used per hour of idling: .60 Engine Size calculation is size multiplied by fuel use per hour. What is total value of reduced idling in a month ? Note: This is one of the more complex calculations on the spread sheet and not necessarily typical of all of the calculations. Our goal is to ensure that you are able to come up with the right answer for this harder formula.

You have already given liters of fuel used per hour of idling. So I didnt use the Engine size in my calculation. (or am I missing something) Anyway, result should be $11.04 I can set the necessary algorithms and formulas in spreadsheets. ( I have an engineering background) I have built several ROI calculators so far. Lets discuss more at chat. Thanks

The formula I believe is =((((0.6/60)*50)*6)*4)*0.92 .60 and hour / by 60 min in an hour=.10 *50 min of reduced idling per day=.50 * 6 days a week = 3* 4 weeks in a month =12 * .92 a liter= $11.04 per vehicle I have taken all of the excel classes from 03 to 13 and I am a bookkeeper by trade. Hi, This is my calculation process: 1- Consumption per day = 60 l/ 60 min * 50 min = 50 l 2- Cost per day = 92 cents / l * 50 cents = 4600 cents = 46 $ 3- Cost per week = 46$ / day * 6 days / week = 276 $ 4- Cost per month = 276 $ / week * 4 weeks / month = 1104 $ Please this is how I work, clear so that your can see the details and any error Thanks

Hello, if yo uare asking about the cost of idling in a month; 24 working days in a month, 50 min idling in a day means ; 1200 min. idling total. if 60 min idling takes 0,6 liters, 1200 min will take 12 liters. multiplying with 0,92, it will cost for a month as 11,04 dollars. Good day. As requested I have worked out the information that you have requested. To calculate the value I had make the assumption that a month is 4 weeks: There are 20 hours of "Reduced Idling" in a month. Per your calculation this equates to 12 liters of fuel used in this time. Thus the value is $11.04 (assumed currency unit is dollars due to the project budget). I come from a background of Engineering Calculus, Linear Algebra with strong statistical knowledge. I also have a strong knowledge in practical use of logic coinciding with machine learning to assist with decision making choices of formulas based on set parameters. Also with my recent employment I have a very strong manual writing experience, thus I will be able to properly tabulate the exact steps and thinking behind the formula creations. I believe I will be able to complete the project in a timely fashion with all of the expectations met.

$1,059.84 is the answer to your test calculation . I have written an employee spread sheet which calculates Net , Tax to be paid , Superannuation to be contributed , yearly gross , yearly net and yearly Superannuation . I used - IF statements , Lookup and Roundup functions . Also Credit and debit functions. Thank you , Paul

Hi Sirs, The answer is 11.04, if calculate based on 4 weeks per month. If based on days per month, the answer is 11.96 for 2016 Jul and 12.42 for 2016 Aug. The Engine Size is not calculated and the days counted as Sunday is no operation. Thank you and Best Regards, Teh

Assuming a month is consist of 4 weeks. No of operating days= 24days No of operating minutes= 24*50=1200 No of operating hours=1200/60=20 Fuel require=3.2*0.6*20=38.4 Fuel cost=38.4*0.92=35.328
