Long-term Comic Artist

You will be the sole comic artist to work on developing/illustrating a comic serial intended primarily for an online audience. Genre works will primarily be fantasy / high-fantasy centric and in full color, with an expected weekly release of at least 35 panels in a vertical scrolling format. This means you will control much of the work flow. Script / screenplay & storyline will be provided, however, with expected artist-writer collaboration on drafting a storyboard modeled after the provided script. Considering the target audience, the art must coincide with current popular trends of online comics found on paid sites such as Webtoon Originals / Tappytoon. Unique art styles will be preferred, but must be fitting for the genre and audience intended. Anime and as Particular inclination and exposure to comics / online novels and familiarity with the online environment is a plus. Being a weaboo is a plus. We work using Clipstudio Paint for the bulk of the work with final edits and adjustments made on Photoshop. For this job, you must have some starting equipment for digital illustration (drawing tablet) and a working computer, as well as a reliable internet connection as we will be working with large files. This is for you if: 1. You like a flexible work time. There will be no "office hours." You control when you work, but will be required to keep an open line of communication at all times. 2. Can work with strict deadlines, work under pressure. 3. Have creative ideas and initiative for improvement as well as individuality and originality. 4. Can handle criticism well, and be willing to adjust depending on feedback. Starting salary is 500-600USD every month.
