Schedule VM snapshot on Google Cloud Platform

Hi, I need a script to schedule VM snapshots daily and keep latest 10 snapshots per VM? Can you help me with it? Preferably, the script should be in c# but I am open to any other scripting language as well. I tried following the instructions on this page to create a C# project [login to view URL] It doesn't create the snapshot instead it returns the JSON string. What Am I supposed to do with that string? Also, I tried the "Try this API" section on the right side of this page [login to view URL] It too returns the JSON string without creating a new snapshot. How am I supposed to execute the above string to create the snapshot? Thank you and let me know as soon as possible.
