Hi there, the short description of your book idea sounds absolutely wonderful and I would like to express my interest to read the story and hopefully negotiate a cooperation. I like the woman empowerment message and I think it would go perfectly with animals dressed as humans option, as it would give a timeless touch to the story. I also have an idea about the style - detailed, somewhat vintage, with a modern edge in organization of space (non linear perspective, for example). I'm a traditionally trained artist and I've been working as an old-school illustrator for many years. That means that I strongly prefer to work by hand with as little digital tools as possible. I'm comfortable with all traditional media and being traditionally trained, I can offer virtually any style. In the process of work, I first develop a storyboard, design the characters and draft the rough pencil sketches. After all of this initial work is approved, I proceed with the illustrations. While in pencil stage, unlimited revisions are possible until the client is completely satisfied. I normally deliver high res scans, but I can send the originals upon request or arrange for print-ready book.
