Goal: Create a basic software to calculate returns for a portfolio of private loan securities. Calculate daily, ytd and yearly gross yield. Calculate AUM at any given point in time. This is a simple portfolio management platform to track track record of a portfolio of private investment loans. Math: loans get redeemed at any given point in time which affects the AUM (assets under management) and calculation of yield. I need someone with good math skills among being a programer since there will be some challenges. I would like to start with the first module whoch is where I place all the info on each loan and the software calculates the performance by using a few metrics. If you are a programmer and have access to a good mathematician this would be great to calculate volatility of the portfolio monthly and other statistical measures. Prior experience in building a financial portfolio management experience is a plus. I am looking to get this done in a wee or 2.
