Hello, we are looking for programing support in C++ and QT (GUI mainly) project. Our goal is to develop distributed POS (point of sale) application - server client architecture based on Linux (Debian). There will be also user GUI application for Windows. If you know programming for some embeded POS devices (not based on QT), you are welcome also. You can work on tasks alone or with some members of our team. Or you can join us with your team. We are using GIT to share code. You have also higher chance to be hired, because we are thinking about more then one developer to invite. Project is set to hourly rate 2-6€. We are about to start our business, so we can't offer more now, but on the other hand, we can provide you lots of task, so you work up to 40h per week, if you want and if you want to make more money. If there will be satisfaction on both sides, we can continue in long time cooperation on following projects. There will be lots of different and interesting tasks, so I hope, you will enjoy cooperation with us. Philip

Scope of work 1. Development of POS application on RTOS for distributed application 2. Task based opportunity Experience 19 years of experience in Engineering product development. Domains like Locomotive, Medical devices, etc. 1. Have experience developing controller based distributed application on QNX using QT 2. Model based design & development on QNX using Rhapsody 3. Middle ware development for distributed application i.e. client server 4. Experience and knowledge of retail and POS solutions. Assumption 1. Work Location- Offshore Pune, India 2. The deliverables will be based on task or activity assigned by customer. 3. Task or activities assigned should align to proposed and estimated efforts i.e. 15 hr/week. Any deviation will be discussed for changed requests 4. Customer to provide infrastructure to connect to GIT for place work done and get latest builds 5. Customer to explicitly state environment set-up for project execution. Any usage of special tools will be provided customers for remote access. 6. Customer to review the status of work done on weekly basis and provide approvals. 7. Customer to provide test stubs to test the developed module in integrated mode 8. The deliverables will be unit tested as per requirements specifications provided by customer 9. Testing on actual h/w or device is out of scope Payment As mentioned. Need to pay for weekly tasks on or before onset of next activity

I have experience with Qt and In general, I love portable UI programming. I used Qt, Java Swing and Windows C++ Forms for GUI development. I've been working as C++ programmer professionally for over 2 years and have a Master's degree from a US University.
