Fill an input field and trigger some (???) action

I need a javascript/jquery code that fills an input field (stake) and trigger the proper events : 4 other fields get modified ( so the sumbit button will work and wont give the error : "Please enter your stake amount." , you will get other error msg cos you are not logged in but if those 4 fields got filled then i am sure it will work) There is an input field: (Stake field) input type="text" autocomplete="off" maxlength="12" id="stake_956283389" value="7" class="numberic" ttp="7" I can get the element: $("iframe").contents().find("input[class='numberic']") Set the value: $("iframe").contents().find("input[class='numberic']").val('7'); If I enter the numbers on the keyboard then 4 other fields get modified/fiiled. I need to simulate/trigger some event/handler calls to achive the same result. I could solve this type of issue (by triggering keydown keyup) on other pages but on this page I can't figure it out I tried firebug/ 2 library from github (autotype, simulate sequence) , but none of them worked I am C# developer (my app is in .NET (using browser object/execute javascipt/DOM ) , JavaScript is not my first language, Click on any odds: (you do not have to register) and the stake fleld will come up : [login to view URL] alternative url (so there is no iframe) [login to view URL]
