I have worked a lot with the Betfair API as well as having created my own trading bot in the horse and dog racing markets based on various triggers. I found these by analyzing data that I had acquired and saved through the software and saved in it's database. I have not done so much with sports or football in this instance, however I have the technical knowledge and experience to bring to the project. I would code a windows program in VB.NET which runs on your computer as a piece of software, which can easily be controlled and adapted through the GUI. It can of course be linked with a database and I would recommend using Microsoft SQL Server. It would simply run on the computers LocalDB in the background as the software does it's thing.
