Key points: We are developing a tool to assist with extracting data from academic papers into a database. We have an existing tool which is most of the way complete, but we require additional changes detailed below. The current system is built primarily in Python, with the front-end developed in javascript and CSS. The system is currently hosted on a free-tier AWS server. Description of current system: Currently, you can extract data into the form, generate additional rows in the form based on form values, and export the data in a csv file. The changes are a mix of minor changes (e.g., changes to field names), and more complicated changes (e.g., changes to the logic which generates the new rows).
