Send SMS functionality

Hi. I am mobile app developer with long time experience in phonegap framework. I have made many phonegap applications that use various api and gps receiver. I already worked with Google and Twilio api. Please tell me where is the databasa? Is it remote database on a server? If yes it needs to create a web service to access the database's data. I am sure I can do the app, but I can start on saturday and finish on sunday. Now I am too busy with current project. Regards.
