Outside Sales Representative
Location: Delhi and Kolkata
The Role:
To develop and establish new business in defined sales area. To maintain robust/ effective multi-level-customer relationships mainly through face to face customer contact. Thereby execute the sales and marketing plan and achieve planned Area Sales budget - sales and receivables.
Main Responsibilities:
• To achieve agreed and communicated sales and collection target in defined scope of area, managing within the defined sales process.
• To identify & convert prospects into buying customers. To develop & grow at agreed existing customers.
• Interact with Manufacturing units and customer to improve the design concepts, new product introduction and business development.
• Inquiry generation, offer submission, negotiations, payment and C form collections etc. Total customer satisfaction either direct or through channel.
• Responsible for tracking customer and competitor information, forecasts and reports
• To establish and implement action plans according to annual marketing/sales plan in cooperation with inside sales and other internal stake holders
• To ensure personal and team safety and promote a 'Safety First' culture.
• Support adherence to Sandvik ways of working as expressed in "power of Sandvik".
Your Profile:
• Bachelor degree or a Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Production / Structural / Metallurgical Engineering Or Science graduate with Applied Physics / Thermodynamics
• Must have basic computer knowledge and strong exposure in CRP & ERP systems
• 7 to 10 years of relevant experience out of which preferably a couple of years as a freelancer
• Successful track record of independent entrepreneurial working

• Knowledge of Welding, Forging, Casting, Heating Applications

Other Information:
• Essentially looking for a freelancing entrepreneurial Sales Rep, working on own, wanting to grow own business and reputation and finds representing Sandvik WPS adding value.
• Should not be interested in direct employment or building a formal career. This is not a Company Hire.
• Should be physically fit and willing for extensive travelling
• Should have local presence and close proximity to relevant Customers / Market. Must know market trends, competition …
• Can/should represent other Non Sandvik products but not competition.
• Remuneration based on preferably Effort & Revenue generated and not a fixed monthly - but a matter to be discussed and agreed with shortlisted candidates
