Mobile Phone Research App

We are doing research in remote communities and require an Android app to help us collect data. The whole project has two elements: 1. A web-based back end through which we develop questions, send them out and analyse results, and 2. A mobile phone based app through which Respondents answer questions. We are looking for a developer to create the mobile phone app which should allow the Respondents to: 1. Download the App from Google Play Store and Sign Up through Facebook or directly into the App. They may be asked for additional demographic data (Age, Sex, Location etc) at Sign Up. 2. Receive an SMS with a link and reference codes. 3. Click the link which opens the App and allows them to save codes in the SMS into the App. The codes help the App construct the questionnaire. There will be several questions in different formats (YES/NO; Multiple Choice; Ranking; Numeric; Comments; Matrix etc). 4. Use the app to respond to the questions and on completion, sms the answers (as codes) back to us from the App. 5. Receive points for answering the question. Technical The consultant is required to: 1. Develop all Wireframes: in other words, you are required to translate the requirements into a visual blueprint of how the app works. 2. Develop graphics designs (UI) services for the project that includes Splash screen, app screens, Home Page, Inner page designs, App icons. We will assist with logo and providing some direction. 3. Provide development/engineering: develop the entire application for Android with a Web Admin Interface. 4. Provide Quality Control services: perform all QC & testing of the system. How we will receive intermediate builds for testing in our own device at the completion of each defined milestones covering the features we specify. 5. Deploy the App (for Google Play Store) 6. Submit entire source of the developed application and all the assets pertaining to project source code after the completion and payment of 90% work done (Final milestone). Other considerations 1. The default language in which the app will be development is English, but for user the language & Interface should be change according to the language of device? 2. Default mode of application layout will be portrait 3. Application can be moved to SD card on user demand / discretion 4. Source code of app will be provided at the end of the project 5. We will have the sole ownership of the developed product and for source code submitted. Developer / Company will not in any way distribute, sell, alter, or republish the source code & will maintain confidentiality as per NDA document.
