Hi, We have experience and we recommend using a NOSQL database like mongo or Redis. A SQL database cannot perform at that level. We can create some basic reports which will execute very fast. We are so confident that we will give a money back guarantee that if we do not improve the query to within 5 seconds you don't have to pay. Hello, I have feeling that by using denormalization it is possible to speed up many statistical request to large db. The idea of OLAP concept is based on that. If this works in your case you probably not need to migrate to postgreSQL, just need a lot of space on servers and precalculation/report building algorithm. We probably may launch some pilot phase to test this concept with your data. Please share your vision on this. Thanks! Dennis

Hello, I have migrated from MySQL to PostgreSQL a few years ago as well because of performance problems and never looked back. I have extensive experience with PostgreSQL (querying, tuning, designing). The largest table I dealt with had about 8 billion rows. Though the number of rows is not as important as good indexes, disk space required and fast hardware. I also have experience with NoSQL (MongoDB - I have deployed and used single instances and sharded clusters). This project looks very interesting and I would like to help you complete it.
