I had a programmer install teamspeak3 on my server. Everything was running well until my server was rebooted a few days ago. I have been unable to connect to the voice server since then. The programmer I was using has since disappeared. I need someone to get in to my server and fix the issue.
Here is the last status from my former programmer:
1) TS3 requires that /dev/shm be mounted as tmpfs as was not, this is why the server was appearing to start but crashing immediately afterwards. I mounted /dev/shm appropriately to resolve this. I also added the necessary entry to /etc/fstab on the server so that this will persist through server reboots.
2) I added in an entry for [login to view URL] to the [login to view URL] file. I also started the tsdns_server service. This service is how TeamSpeak clients know what particular IP address and port to connect to without specifying them explicitly.
3) I added at reboot cronjobs to the tgrvoice user's cron file. This will automatically start the TeamSpeak server and TS DNS service at reboot.
When I go into cpanel there are no cron jobs assigned. It may be as simple as adding crons to reboot the TS server and TS domain service.
Identify issues with the server and correct them. Detail what happened and put measures in place to avoid it in the future. I will also require proof that the system works before payment is released.
