Simple problem: ASP.NET/AJAX/GridView/UpdatePanel

This should be very easy for all you ASP.NET + AJAX experts out there. We are rewriting our online forum software, and converting it to ASP.NET 2 with AJAX. On each forum thread, we have a page of messages from users, laid out using a GridView object. Under each message we have two links: one to rate the post bad, another to rate the post good. These links will call a stored procedure in our database. All this stuff is already written. YOUR MISSION: Make these two rating links AJAXified, so that when they are clicked, the page does not refresh, but calls the function which updates our database, and then UPDATES the LINK with "Rated good" or "Rated bad" etc. WE ALREADY HAVE: - The software to retrieve the forum messages, and lay them out on the page using the grid view. - The software to update our database once the link is clicked WE NEED: - Help with Ajaxifying these two links so that from within the GridView the correct function is called, and the function knows which message is being rated, and the link is updated on-screen WE PROVIDE: - A very cut down version of our page. We have stripped out everything except what is needed to do this job. It includes the ASP.NET page (and code-behind file, style sheet, [login to view URL] file, and XML file containing sample data. (Please note our real application uses SQL Server but for the purposes of this job I have taken a tiny sample of data and placed it in the XML file).
