I would like a to use Google’s open source hash table and set implementations from C#. In order to do this I need a CLI/C++ wrapper around their code that exposes its functionality to the CLR/.NET world. (CLI is Microsoft’s new Managed C++.) In addition to wrappers for these C++ classes, I’d like basic C# unit tests that test functionality and are examples for how to use the wrapper classes. The Google code comes with a VC++ project ready to compile and execute unit tests. The CLI code should expose a Dictionary that supports any of the following types for K or V: int, long, uint. I’ll provide a $50 bonus if you can make it work for any value of K or V, including reference types. The dictionary should have constructors for specifying the number of expected items used to set the size of the hashtable. In addition to the two hashtables (dense_hash_map and sparse_hash_map) I’d like wrappers for dense_hash_set and sparse_hash_set. (Of course with all of this the managed layer should just be a pass-through. All of the hashtable logic should be from Google’s code.)
