Undelete files in flash memory card with basic forensic requirements

This project can be roughly divided into two stages. The first part should allow the user to see a memory card's contents in a byte level and ascii similar to WinHex([login to view URL])as shown above. It should also allow the user to make an exact bit-by-bit copy of the card's contents. The user can then compute a MD5 hash value for both the original and the copy and compare them. This is the forensic requirement to ensure that both are exactly the same. In the second stage, the user can see the names of some deleted files on the copy and choose whichever files he wants to recover and save it on a local hard disk. This project should hopefully be coded using visual c++. i have some sample codes from other similar projects which can do a image copy of a floppy disk. i guess the codes can be used as some reference. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform It should work in microsoft Windows XP and on different types of memory cards ie. memory stick, CF, SD with different capacity (from 16mb-512mb at least) with FAT file systems.
