440956 Oscommerce problems

Hi guys. I have some problems with an oscommerce site. My programmer installed the paypal & authorize net plugins (or however they're called) but: 1. the admin isn't notified when a new order is placed - no emails are sent. BUT the contact form & Tools/Send email work fine, so I have no clue why this is happening, neither does the programmer. Hosting server = linux. 2. paypal orders work fine, but authorize net orders sometimes come in the admin, sometime they don't. I need these 2 things solved. I'll pay $20 for each of these problems that are solved. I cannot provide you with FTP/site access, but I can give you the files if needed. If you know how to sort this out, tell me in PBM. I'll try out what you advise, and if it works I'll send you the money right away. I'll be waiting to hearing from you all.
